The Helmer family has asked that the life of their son, Cameron, be remembered for the joy that music brought to his life.   Cameron was a brilliant, kind, compassionate young man who will be dearly missed by his family, friends and community.

Thank you for your generosity in donating to support the Ventura High School Music Program as a way to honor Cameron's life and musical journey.  Cameron was a talented young trumpet player who first picked up a horn in middle school.  Your donation leaves a legacy to Cameron, alongside others who knew and loved him in addition to providing opportunities for other students to explore and develop musical gifts.
